My table runner is finished! This was one of those surprising times when the project takes you on a journey and most of the time you're not certain where you are going.

As for me I learned a bit at looking at the details, because with a simple piece like this everything is in those quiet details.
Thanks Sue, without this session of your Christmas Quilt-a-long I would still be wondering what to make for my cousins much less what to actually give them. Oh to have it made, what a thrill! My DH is going to make a wooden box for it that we will give it to them in. Is anyone wishing it for themselves? While I had a couple of rough spots that I didn't like it much I'm pleasantly surprised at how pretty it turned out.

Believe it or not I finished in just the right amount of time as to have dinner on the table exactly at our regular time. I highly recommend anyone on the fence join us next time. Same place 2nd Saturday of the month through December.

I love the fact that you did a quilt along I have been away again. This time for a week at the beach, but I just read your quilt aolon posts and am glad that you seemed not only to have fun, but also to make such a great table runner.

I'm sorry to hear that the whole school fiasco really ruined Jessica's love of learning. I totally hope that she'll have an awesome teacher this year which will help make things better!
