After making some adjustments that my friend Vicki suggested, I thought perhaps a quieter quilt was in order, and dug deep for the right combinations. Please feel free to click on the pattern to see it more easily. After I finished this I moved on to a simple design for the back.
I feel that the lighter spaces allow room for pretty quilting applique or even a bit of simple embroidery. Now to calculate quilt yardage.

I like it, but the quilting will have to highlight your piecung to make the work worth it. Good luck and show us some in progress pictures.
